1993 Nissan Altima XE review from North America
"Excellent choice for low cost vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
For 10 years almost nothing!!!
- Had to replace starter once.
- Replaced frond disk pads twice for
198000 km. However I still have
original factory instilled rear
break shoes!!!
- Start having small engine oil leak, seems engine gasket may need to replace, but I don't bother yet.
General comments?
This is unbelievably reliable vehicle. I owned it for ten years and kept driving it every day with no problem whatsoever.
I wish it had better acceleration at a lower RPM, but well... However at a higher RPM it responses beautifully.
Comfort and craftsmanship is excellent, no rattling at all. Bit of wind noise at high speed, but it is expected at this vehicle class.
I kept waxing car twice a year and still looks as new.
