1998 Nissan Altima GXE review from North America
"A fast, reliable, all around car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace the fuel pump.
I replaced the front brake pads and tires at sixty thousand miles.
Everything else is original.
General comments?
I can't imagine a more reliable car. Routine maintenance keeps this car going without any problems.
It's fast and corners well.
I've got as good as 37 mpg on the highway, and that's driving between 75 and 80. I also own a 6 cylinder Ford Taurus, and for trips I put the family in the Nissan because of the mushy ride and lousy gas millage of the Ford.
