Love the car, hate that things keep going wrong with it. I do not want to give up the car, but when things happen every 6 months, it is very depressing. I take care of my car, inside and out, and check the oil, water, fluid levels etc, often, but I guess I got one of those Altima's made on a Monday by a guy who had a big fight with his wife before he left the house to go to the manufacturing plant!
Don't you think "lemon" and "made on a Monday" applies more to a car you buy new? You bought a 3 year old car with 65,000 miles on it. I'm not saying that's a bad decision necessarily, but don't be shocked by some wear and tear. (I, too, would have been disappointed and surprised by the radiator going that early.)
Just remember that an appraiser takes $1500 off the value of your model for that high of a mileage in such a short time. So it works both ways: You get a better deal in buying it, but it will have a greater chance of needing repair.
Maybe you're over the "hump" now. I hope it does well for you from here on!
