1997 Nissan Altima GXE review from North America
"Boring, but reliable and cheap to operate"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Some work had to be done on the emissions control systems (twice). I think it was a sensor of some sort. Covered under warranty.
Cup holders broken.
General comments?
I got this car after totaling my 95 Maxima. It was a sort of penance for me, since the Altima is anything, but exciting.
I've had to do very little to the car except change some normal wear items (struts at 90000, plugs, etc).
This thing also gets 35 MPG on the highway!
