1995 Nissan Bluebird SSS review from Australia and New Zealand
"A truly reliable sweetheart"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Apart from changing the oil filter and a worn out inside car light, nothing yet.
General comments?
This car is absolutely gorgeous (apart from the name). I truly have no regrets at all owning this car. As a student, I was searching for cheap car below A$ 6,000.
I found this car on an online used car advertisement and at first was not impressed as I thought japanese cars were cheap and not as good as European one (I owned 1997 BMW 528i before).
My friends also told me that with A$ 6,000 I can get Toyota, Honda, and even Holden at a newer year, but then I decided to give this Nissan a try. I test drove it and this car proved my assumption about Japanese cars was wrong. The Japanese do really make a good car! Though not as good as BMW, but come on, they compete on different segment.
Now that I have owned this car for almost 2 years, I love it so much, and this car never fails me, not even 1 time. It runs fast and surprisingly low on fuel consumption. I can make around 9 kms per litre.
Man, I love this car if I move back to my hometown in Indonesia, I will bring this car along with me subject to the law allowing it, hahaha.
From a truly satisfied owner.
Hans.
