I have a Bluebird Turbo SR. Is there a difference between this and the ZX? My insurance company refuses to acknowledge the existance of an SR, and have insured it as a ZX. I went and wound up the engine, it blew away 2 council vans. The guys inside were gibbering wrecks. One guy asked me 'is it a normal 1800?' I said 'naw, it's a turbo!'

I have been using my dads nissan bluebird ZX turbo and have been surprised by the performance and would like to get some infomation on the car because I have been told it is running 140-150BHP, but I have driven things with more power and lighter than the bluebird witch have not been as fast so I think that it could be running a lot more power than quoted so I would like to find out if it is.

I've had mine for about three and a half years, buying it part modified from the webmaster for the NTOC. Its main faults were the exhaust manifold studs working loose and then blowing the manifold gaskets, nothing too bad other than normal running wear and tear. The engine is the same used in the Silvia turbo so performance parts for that are not that difficult to find, however, try finding handling kits and the like and you'll be hard pushed. Try through the owners club for an exhaust and you can get a fitting kit for an air filter. Alternative solution, fit a 200sx engine and annoy everyone who has a go. www.ntoc.co.uk www.norrisdesigns.com (www.japex.co.uk/japuk/index.html Look under members in the southwest for pics of mine)

Make sure they are connected under the bonnet, are you sure they're not working, it only adjusts the damping a little?
