1987 Nissan EXA Coupe review from Australia and New Zealand
"A great little sports car that doesn't cost a bomb"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power transistor failed due to heat stress.
1 of 4 ignition coils failed due to heat stress.
Timing belt tensioner bearing collapsed (not fatally).
Replaced clunking drive shafts.
General comments?
Definitely not for large families.
Stylish and individual.
Not a speed demon, but 180k/h with stock 1.6.
Very reliable mechanically for its age.
Although heavy nose and light rear, handles well.
14km/l highway cycle up to 140k/h cruising.
275,000 k's and using very little 10w30 weight oil.
