2005 Nissan Frontier NISMO review from North America
"This truck looks great and has the power to destroy most of the full size trucks on the street"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
This truck is Awesome!! The acceleration in all RPM ranges are great.
I opted for the Nismo over the stock frontier for many reasons. The NISMO has larger wheels, a real bed liner, skid plates and an off-road suspension. The dealer claims the NISMO has 280 hp/ 300 ft lbs, due to the nismo exhaust and air intake system. The stock frontier has 265/280. I have not read anything confirming the NISMO numbers, but as an owner, I can believe it. I have beaten the hell out of every other mid size truck I have ever pulled aside as well as every full size truck I've encountered.
Now I'm sure there are those poor souls who will be quick to make a ridiculous comment like; "I bet it cant beat my Lightning or my SRT 10!" This may be true, but you're comparing a 20k mid size to a 40k full size. You can't justify the price difference by the small increase of performance.
Anyways,I'm sure those who share ownership of these trucks have similar stories. If you enjoy your frontier as much as I have please leave your comments.
Thanks, and Goodwill to everyone.
