1995 Nissan Laurel RB20E from Brunei
Summary:
Simply luxurious and relaxed driving
Faults:
Changed the rear shocks, timing belt (I was not sure when the previous owner had changed) and power steering pump (all below 130K KMS).
Recently changed the front brake pads, tie rod end, 4 new tyres and ignition cables at 137,000KMS.
General Comments:
Actually, bought this as a exchange for my Nissan Prairie reluctantly.
I was surprised to see the car's luxuryness, it was so silent and comfortable.
It handles perfectly during any emergency brakings. A/C is excellent.
After changing the new tires and a bit of money, it feels as if I'm driving a new car. I could hear only wind noise, and there is no engine or tire sound.
Even though, I had to spend this amount, I feel it is worth spending on this kind of vehicle.
I use this car mainly for long trips. It's just a WONDERFUL DRIVING EXPERIENCE all the way where all the roughness of the road is taken care by one of the best suspensions.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

As an update to my post regarding my Laurel:
The Diff was not leaking oil, it was grubby so it may have in the past, but after cleaning it up and monitoring it for 2 weeks I've seen no tracing of fluid seeping from anywhere.
The rust hole and minor rust in the boot has been fixed up for next to nothing.
I'm still very impressed with this car although I still haven't fixed the headlights yet. Whoops. Must fix that before Mr Plod decides he wants my money more than I do...
