General comments?
I love this car even with all the trouble it has given me. The main problem I had was the cold start where after car sat for a few hours in anything under 50 degrees it would idle rough and sometimes die for about 10 to 30 minutes depending on the weather. after 2 years and over $1,000. trying to find the problem I finally found it was the upper intake plenum gasket. Nissan dealer was going to replace for about $550. but I talked to their main mech. on the side and he did that plus replaced Engine mount, rotors (4),O2 sens.,c.v.boots, oil change, and pulley for $800. the plenum gasket made a huge change in overall performance most places don't want to deal with replacing it because its hell to get to, but it is well worth 550. to let a dealership do it because there is a lot to mess up taking everything on the top of the engine off and side mechs. will not tell you they messed up.
