2004 Nissan Maxima review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
04 Maxima, transmission problem. This is my 4th Maxima, jut turned 78,000 and it won't shift out of 5th gear. If I stop it turn it off, then it will start hard for about 3 times. Let it sit for a couple minutes, starts fine, back to 1st gear and all seems well. Take it out, same thing.
Found the ground wire to trans. broke, didn't fix it. Dealership manager says no problems at all with the 04, think after reading all the posts, he's full of it.
Don't bother with Nissan headquarters, you will get nowhere.
