2001 Nissan Maxima review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
SES light gives incorrect readings. Light comes on two days after being reset by dealership. Light is always on except for two days after the dealer has reset it.
Took car to dealer for CA smog requirement. They reset ECU computer to pass the test. The ECU was on recall status but I still paid exorbitant fee. Two days later the SES light is on again. Does this mean that the car should not have passed the smog test? Is this a violation of the EPA law or the CARB law. Should the dealer have to show that the car in in compliance instead of just messing with the SES light? Is there any legal recourse?
Let's have Nissan kicked out of North America!!
