1995 Nissan Maxima SE review from North America
"Sportier than most sports cars"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
No major problems, even at 123,000 miles! Only routine maintenance.
General comments?
The first thing I noticed about this car was the beautiful, sporty styling. This is a family car? Certainly could have fooled me.
The engine is absolutely incredible. The acceleration is immediate and powerful. On the highway, the car effortlessly and quietly speeds to and cruises at 65.
The sporty suspension is a little too stiff on rough roads, but on the same token the car is glued to the road on turns. It handles like a formula-1 racer.
A very spartan interior. Most accurately described as a cockpit. Not exceptionally comfortable, but the heads up display and interfaces are perfectly designed.
