1992 Nissan Maxima SE review from North America
"The truly timeless 4-door sports car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The window regulator in the driver's door had to be replaced.
General comments?
This car was a rare find. Bought in 2003, manufactured in 8/91, the car is nearly twelve years old with only 55k on it. The clearcoat is peeling off of the bumpers and wing, but the interior is in excellent condition. The car drives like no other. This is a third generation maxima and has independant rear suspension. Until the 2004 model year the maximas had some type on monomatic suspension which breaks tradition of the true sports car.
This car drives like a new one. I have broken 100 MPH in third gear. The drive will make you smile.
The car also gets over 30 MPG on the highway with premium fuel.
