1987 Nissan Maxima GXE review from North America
"A powerful little car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power steering leaks, common on these cars. Air control valve went bad, causing the car hesitate on cold mornings. Wheel bearings and cv axles wore out. Fuel pump relay went bad. Transmission seal broke. Overall, this car is very reliable, never left me stranded. Still runs like new!
General comments?
This is a very nice and sporty car. It's also very fast. This is a true four door sports car, and it has good gas mileage. Even though my car is 15 years old, it still has a lot of power, and is faster than most other newer cars out there! I know I made a good investment, and would not hesitate to buy another maxima! Like they say, It max's out!
