2000 Nissan Maxima SE review from UK and Ireland
"Brilliant! For the first time in my life I am not looking at anything else"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The starter went within days, but was fixed under warranty.
The 02 sensors went at 88500 miles, replaced at a cost of €1100.
General comments?
This is a fine, comfortable cruiser.
It has a silky smooth V6 engine which purrs along. At idle, it is sometimes difficult to discern whether or not the engine is running.
It has every creature comfort, electric
heated seats, cruise control, 6 stack CD system, air con.
Having driven a Merc for 4 years, I have to say that this baby is far superior. The handling is fine, acceleration fantastic. Put the foot down and she takes off!
Fine big boot, lots of room for passengers and their gear / luggage.
This is a very under-rated car! Great second hand value.
