2000 Nissan Maxima GXE review from North America
"I'm disappointed in Nissan"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have the same ingnition coils problem with well-maintained 2000 Maxima with 75K miles. Please make sure you let your dealer know you are most disappointed and call 1-800-Nissan 1 to voice your displeasure. I am currently disputing costs of replacing all 6 coils,$960. At 1-800-Nissan1 I was told they had never heard of such a problem 11/3/06. If this is true, all of you who are complaining on line have not done so to Nissan. If you have voiced your displeasrue (and there seems to be a lot of you), then Nissan is lying. Clearly my dealer knew there was a problem and they told me to call Nissan the second I indicated I knew others were having the same problem and I said there should be a recall and I should not pay. Either way, I'm unlikely to buy another Nissan and I've had several. Let your voice be heard.
DEJ.
