1988 Nissan Micra colette review from UK and Ireland
"Very Reliable and Great off-roader"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing that would have occured under normal treatment.
General comments?
We bought the car for use as a off-roading farm vehical and have driven it about 60 miles. It has taken some serious abuse, but will not give up on us. It has serious off-roading capabilities when it comes to slippy conditions and refues to get stuck.
We have tried on many occasions to finish her off, but have not been succesful to this point. We will list all the things we have tried over the last few months.
1. Taken on by-ways up embankments at serious angles.
2. Slammed the radiator into the engine when hitting a pot-hole in the ground. Front end crushed.
3. Put into a ditch on its side.
4. Smashed repeatadly into metal barriers from all angles crushing the bodywork.
5. Taken across muddy farm fields, along very rough farm tracks in all conditions. Never gets stuck
Will keep trying, but just won't stop.
For all you that think we are joking
this is serious and really shows how well made these cars are.
