"Finest 1.0L supermini which is fully loaded!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Minor electrical problems, headlights failing, oil filter bursting overnight when the car was parked!!!

But apart from that, the car has been running like a dream... wish I had purchased it first instead of a 106 whose head gasket decided to go at around 80k miles : (

Headrests on driver and passenger seats starting to wear away, and seats do mark easily, as do the doors on the inside (mine is a 3dr) so people are always climbing into the back.

General comments?

For a 1.0L car probably pushing out 50bhp this car is very quick off the mark, 1.2L corsa are doing like 55-60bhp Japanese cars are so much better!

Also the fuel economy is excellent, averages around 40-45mpg (heavy footed I knw!!)

I'd definately recommend this car to anyone who's looking for their first car after passing their test. Handles beautifully, very responsive, adequate bootspace, plenty of room for passengers in the back, and maintainence of car is v.cheap, only requires you to top up the oil, water and antifreeze every so often, and do check the tyre pressures :)

If this car had the looks of the 206 who's also in the super-mini market or even the BMW mini for that reason then it would definately be Britians top seller!

Thanks for the comments on your Nissan Micra profile. I found it very interesting when you said you had a 106 and head gaskets had gone, cos that's just what happened to my 106. I've traded it in for a Nissan Micra; I hope it turns out better than the 106, which I would never purchase again.
