1991 Nissan NX1600 review from North America
"Cheap reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well I bought this car for 650$ and I have to put 450$ to pass it safety, I had to get new wheel bearings, and some cosmetics (hole in the frame)
After that 2 days later new front brakes, and replace my CV half shaft at 260 000 km I drive it hard. and the previous owner never replaced it and he owned it for 5 years.
General comments?
The drive train on this car is really reliable, but it has a major rusting problem.
I had to weld back my rear wheel weal because the arc separated it from my car thank god the bottom stayed in-tack.
Cheap on gas can get 500 km on one gas tank.
No room in the back center console lid broke.
Handles great.
