1992 Nissan Pathfinder LX 2WD review from North America
"Very, very dependable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission was replaced under warranty by previous owner at 60,000 miles.
Left exhaust manifold gasket replaced at about 120,000 miles.
Brake master cylinder was replaced at about 150,000 miles.
Water pump was replaced at about 160,000 miles.
Oil pump was replaced at about 203,000 miles.
General comments?
Very reliable vehicle. Has never failed to start.
Air Conditioning has never been worked on and we are at 205,000 miles with the coldest AC.
Does not use oil.
Comfortable drive. A bit wobbly side to side like a truck when we drive on the interstate highways.
Interior has held up excellently.
Exterior has held up very well for a vehicle that is not kept in a garage.
