1997 Nissan Primera gx review from UK and Ireland
"Excellent, reliable motoring"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Cv joint at 60000, due to short sighted m.o.t.inspector not noticing cv boot was split.
Replacement o/s upper suspension link {rubber bush dried out} caused annoying squeeking.
And tends to go through front pads quite regularly.
Bad fitting floor carpet in n/s footwell.
Exterior paint leaves a lot to be desired, especially
along edges of bonnet and boot where primer is starting to show through.
General comments?
Car handles great,
it is quick for a 1600 but lacks a bit at top end
i left a report a year after getting car and I can say apart from the above faults its been a great car to own and now its getting to the end of its life, it still runs great, and I will be sad to trade it in.
