1987 Nissan Pulsar NX review from North America
"The perfect first car, or fun car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first got this car on Christmas, I noticed a few bad rust spots on the bottom near the doors. Whenever I closed the flip-up headlights it made a funny sound. There were a few brake lights blown, and the stereo crackled whenever I turned it up.
General comments?
This is my first car so I can't help, but to love it. this car was only $550. It has about 70 horsepower which is usually pretty weak, but since it is so light it feels like it has more power. At night me and my best friend who has a 1985 BMW make passes through a stretch of curves and hills. My car easily out handles his through the tight curves due to the low ground clearance of the car. There is also an abandoned airport runway that is exactly one mile long where we race. 1987 Nissan Pulsar VS. 1985 BMW, better race then you would think, though I am victorious. Overall I guess this car is not that fast compared to newer sports cars, but I can deal with my competition. This car gets greats gas mileage. In the summer I take the T-tops, and hatchback off and cruise, I get a lot of looks from people.
