Nine times out of Ten, you can just dig out your haynes manual and in 20 minutes you have installed whatever sensor was faulty, and can then relax with a well earned premium Brew, content in the knowledge that you just saved yourself a good few hundred bucks. Not only that, but nobody has rigged the vehicle for future faults.
