2004 Nissan Quest S review from North America
"This is the best van out there not only from a styling standpoint but also power, safety ,and design"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
This van has a 240HP 3.5 V6 shared with other Nissan models such as the Maxima and 350Z. It has a 4 speed automatic and we have not notice much difference vs. the 5 speed SE we drove. The brakes are excellent on this van and it handles like no other we tested and trust me we drove them all.
In regards to safety, the van has side curtain airbags standard for all passengers a must for us and standard tire pressure monitors, and rear backup sensors.
In regards to comfort and convenience, both sliding doors and the rear hatch are easily opened we opted for the non power option. There are grocery bag hooks on the back of the rear seat and on the back of the driver and passenger front seat. We opted for the DVD entertainment system and it is worth the expense especially with a three year old. All rear seats fold flat into or onto the floor. The second row seats tilt and move back and forth. The second row seats also allow you to move them or tilt them up with a car seat strapped into them via the LATCH car seat system. The van is very low to the ground unlike the Suburban we had before which allows our 3 year old to easily climb in. We have experienced no problems certainly no rattles which we read on numerous web sites, and are completely satisfied.
