2004 Nissan Quest SE review from North America
"I think it is a good quality vehicle, but a bit over priced considering the flaws I have encountered"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Right roof trim pops out and vibrates. It will stay in for a few dozen trips then pop back out again. The length of time between pop outs is getting closer and closer all the time. This started when the vehicle was new. I pressed the trim back into its track and didn't think much of it until it popped back out a month or two later. Now it pops out every few weeks.
The rear interior lights in the ceiling don't want to stay in place. They use a 'push' on and off technique and almost every time you push them on or off the entire assembly pops out. You just have to push it back in, but you can tell by the way it goes in it will come right back out the next time it is touched.
General comments?
Overall I like the Quest, but for the price I paid for it >$30K you would think small things like the trim and interior lights would be of a better quality.
It is very comfortable in its ride and gets respectable gas mileage considering its size ~20-25mpg.
The Quest is incredibly roomy and easily accessible.
