"Since the oil recall I've had nothing but problems"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Had no complaints with the car until I received

recall instructions. First recall was for ECU, took it in and had service done with no problems noticed. Second recall notice was for excessive oil consumption, took car in thought everything was fine then noticed when checked oil regularly that it was always low! Before recall servicing car was fine, now I can't make it to my scheduled 3000 mile oil change without having to add a quart or two? VSpec has baffled me with its change since my recall. Can anybody help me!

General comments?

Love the quick-throw stick for the six-speed.

Handling is very nice.

All round performance good.

Interior styling great.

Sound system great (rockford-fosgate)

Interior roominess is bad for back seat passengers.

Hey

I know it was a while ago you posted this. But I had the same problem. Take your Sentra to have an oil consumption test on the vehicle. They are supposed to do this for 3,000 miles after you have Nissan do your oil change. At 48,000 the dealer had to swap my engine. They put in a 2006 remanufactured 2.5L engine from an Altima, which is the same thing. But watch out, cause now I have tranmission problems. and Nissan does NOT want to help out this time.
