1986 Nissan Sentra Base review from North America
"Seriously, I will cry the day this car dies"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace both CV joints at 145k miles.
I had to replace the alternator at 160k miles.
General comments?
This nimble little car has a surprising amount of headroom inside and a good view out of the car in any direction.
Very neutral handling for a small front-driver... won't squeal the front tires unless you push hard.
I've had some carburetor problems lately so it hesitates when warm.
I've had this car for 5 years and almost 60,000 miles... and all for $300. I will gladly drive this car until she can give no more.
I can't wait to get my next Nissan Sentra, hopefully a 2002 SE-R V-Spec!
