1989 Nissan Sentra DLX review from North America
"The best first vehicle for teens ever!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car has been very reliable. I have had only 3 real complaints about it.
First of all, it leaks oil. The leak is very small and difficult to locate.
Second, the quality of the interior is mediocre. I have had 2 interior rips in the upholstery.
Third, the rear linkage bearing fell apart at 63,000 Km. The dealer replaced it with an oversize linkage, but it still clunks on sharp left turn.
Other than that, everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
General comments?
This car is my first car ever. It is in good shape and the engine still runs as though it was brand new. It has been very cheap and easy to maintain and the insurance is very cheap.
The exterior is nice, but it is a little plain. I intend to add a spoiler and a few exterior details in the next year.
