Nothing other than routine maintenance. Replaced tyres at 60,000 miles and sparkplugs. Does not give good gas mileage in city but runs 39 mpg on highway.
Bought as a used car at 23,000 miles. Now has 72,000 miles and still looks and runs great. Not really comfortable for tall persons and rattles a lot on rough roads. Never let me down though I'd now prefer to get one with 2.0L engine.
Mine is the same way, it eats gas.
