2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R review from North America

"Great car, never disappointing"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Upon purchasing the car the inner light panel was falling from its place. Took a trip back to the dealership and it was quickly fixed.

I haven't occurred any other problems.

General comments?

I enjoy this car a lot. I'm surprised that it can get 180 HP and so much power with only a 4 cylinder.

When driving in the city I can quickly pull ahead at a light or switch lanes easily. I especially enjoying the ability to go pretty fast and still make flawless turns. That and the car is pretty light so the engine never has to try very hard.

I think freeway driving is the greatest part of this car. Its hard to describe the feeling of flooring the car going up on the on ramp. The car goes into the higher RPM's and feels like you're going very fast the entire way. I've noticed at about 60-65 that if you want to pass someone the car jets up to 70-80 very quickly without you even noticing because the engine isn't very loud. My dad says if you want to pass someone its "right now" and it doesn't take time to speed up.

Overall I really like this car. I put in a new cold air intake and it gets about 26 MPG in the city and 32 on the highway. I would recommend this car to pretty much anyone. I read some of the other reviews where owners claimed that the car wasn't comfortable/too small and the cup holders were too small? I never remember thinking this so I don't know what was going on there. I'm 6'3 and have had no problems with the car being too small.
