Interior is hammered.
Clutch went out at 167000 miles.
There is a hole in my radiator so I have to fill it with coolant about once a week.
PROS:
The sentra wagon gets good gas milage 30+ intown driving, 35+ highway driving. It is reliable and a fun car to drive.
CONS:
No power, ugly, lots of road noise.
OVERALL:
A good beater car to drive around town with, a good value for the money
I had a 1984 Sentra Wagon, with the 1.6 (E16) Motor. It was a great car for me. It had bad handling, mainly because I needed a new Front Suspension, but it was actually quite fast. I once beat an older mid 1980's Bmw 5 Series up a Hill from a Traffic Light. He was trying hard as well. The front Tyres would spin easy in First, bags of Torque everywhere from this Motor. I will forever miss it. Unfortunately I had to scrap it because It would not start, and I had already Replaced the Fuel Pump, Distributor and Carburettor One Year earlier. I now believe it was probably the Carburettor again, the Rebuilt Units offered for Sale do not last many Miles.Unfortunately, that's all I could get for the E16.So that, and a lack of time, and the Front Suspension Work meant It had to go. I am still not happy that its gone though, It was great to Drive. If my Landlord was not so Strict about me having Cars that are out of Sticker, then I would still have it, as I could have got it running when time and Finances Permitted.
