1992 Nissan Skyline gtst review from Australia and New Zealand

"It's an affordable super car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Rode the clutch a bit, but that fixed itself, it has an aftermarket on/off style clutch.

General comments?

When I got the car it had already been modified quite nicely. It has apexi adjustable lowered shocks and dampers, strut braces, greddy air intake, trust turbo, blitz blow off valve, 17inch volk rims, 3inch nismo exhaust and tinted windows. I've only had the car for a few months and I absolutely love it, it handles better than any other car I've ever driven, even though the ride quality is sacrificed a little for this, but its well worth it I think.

I've already started making modifications to the car, I found the problem was the ram pod air intake was intaking very hot air from the engine so I'm either going to install a custom carbon fibre heat shield, or replace it with a factory air box and install a ram pod airfilter within that.

I've also purchased a custom made 640x270x80 front mount intercooler which is going to be fitted very soon. Its really cool because the piping runs under the intercooler and back through the standard placements within the engine bay, the less mods the better!

Me and my brother have purchased skylines because we love them so much, I've found the r32 handles a lot better due to its weight, but looks less refined then the r33, but I'm willing to live with that.

The cars are very reliable, all of the RB engines are near indestructible, and theres so much scope for modifications its not funny.

The fuel consumption can be nasty and I'm good friends with the shell operator now... they know me on a name basis.

I highly recommend this car, it'll blow cars 3times more expensive clean out the water in many respects, go skyline!
