1996 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR review from UK and Ireland
"Fast, very fast, but if you have got a family then you will have to do without one these speed demon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wheel barrings went at 4000 miles.
Gearbox went at 6500 miles.
Front brakes cracked, snapped off and nakkard up all inside of my set of £3500 Mille Miglia wheels.
Radiator blew at 10000 miles.
Rear Heated Window smashed at 100mph on a B-road.
At 20000 miles, the starter motor packed in and it was all due to loose electronics.
General comments?
It devolops about 515bhp.
Its good for around 185mph and it does 0-62 in 4.1 seconds.
It has a Pipercross Induction Kit, Magnex Full Stainless Steel exhaust, stage 3 Super chip, Blitz air filter, Spitfire spark plugs, FSE Power Boost Valve, Triple Clutch, 2 litre cannister NOS, Two Sparco Bucket Seats (no rear seats), £3500 Mille Miglia 19" Wheels, and a one-off kit.
Not very good for your missus going shopping in.
Not a family car.
