1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GTST review from Australia and New Zealand
"If you drive a skyline you won't want to drive anything else"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Faulty catalytic converter, but that was under warranty and the supplier got it fixed. Apart from that no problems really.
General comments?
The car is noisy and a bit rough at low speeds (as would most turbo cars) and is not a car to race at the lights as I think the compression ratio is lower so the car tends to over rev then.
But the turbo starts up easier around
2-3rd gear (or past 3500rpm). it is a fast car, handles itself takes corners beautifully and handles itself fantastically on the highway (very stable)
For the size of the car, the interior feels surprising small and fits a small person like myself very well. yet the head room is plenty and fits tall drivers, its also very comfortable, not the cheap plastic interiors that come with some types of cars. I've driven a few and this one I've got is really nice.
