1991 Nissan Stanza EX review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well my brother originally received the car from our aunt. And he was driving it until he left for the Marine Corps. One day he was driving home, taking an exit off of the highway and he pushes on the brakes, and the rear left brake exploded. Literally. They caught on fire and everything.
Once I gained possession of the car a few years later, the same thing happened to me. I push on the brakes and the drum and shoes explode, catching on fire. I have fixed it since then. My mom doesn't trust me taking the car on the highway for fear of it breaking down again.
I tend to believe the one part that is causing this is the self adjuster. Which is IMPOSSIBLE to locate in any online store. I'm not entirely sure if that is what's causing this problem, but I think that's what it is. If anyone else has had problems similar, please feel free to contact me. allexpoole@yahoo.com
