1991 Nissan Stanza EX review from North America
"A super car at an affordable price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The drivers electric window control for the back, right window broke at approximately 175000 miles.
Replaced one drive axle at approximately 160000 miles.
General comments?
This car was purchased new for my wife who is a small woman. One of the requirements was that all of the controls had to be easily reached while driving. This car met that requirement perfectly.
The 2.4 liter engine has more power than what we expected. Even with over 195000 miles on the car it still runs excellent, uses no oil and idles very smoothly.
The fuel mileage was good at 21mpg in town and 27mpg on the highway.
The car was driven on many long trips and was very comfortable. The interior has worn very well. No tears or obvious ware. It still looks new.
The sound system was a factory system. It still works well with the exception of a speaker cracking on occasion. Maybe once every hour.
The air conditioning has never needed servicing. Still blows cold air.
Over all this has been a great buy for us. We are planning to drive it for at least another 100000 miles. Maybe more.
