1991 Nissan Stanza EX review from North America
"Just been better than a car should be, it WILL NOT DIE"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, I have owned this car for about six years, it is the only car I have owned and I have all of the repair records in a stack.
1200, rebuild trans (explain later)
200 water pump
300 exhaust system revamp
250 radiator shot
prob 1000 in other little stuff (brakes, tires, ect)
General comments?
Generally Speaking this car is basically bullet proof, it was I learned to drive in, I owned it through high school and beat the hell out of it. I have raced it, drivin it off road, slammed it into snow banks, just about everything. The trans went out one day because my sis got stuck in a snow bank and rocked it for two hours (what can you expect?),
Rebuilt transmission, a couple of years later it was put into park when going 80+ on the freeway, cracked the case, but found some guy that basically glued it closed, still works, but has no parking brake. I went to a Nissan dealership to find a new car, the sales man wouldn't tell me about any new nissans, but instead just went on and on bout how great these cars are, he was right.
