1995 Nissan Sunny LX Preview review from UK and Ireland
"It does not get better than this does it?"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing.
General comments?
Well Well Well where do I start.
Following a serious financial restructure, I had to do away with my love for quite expensive cars, and downgrade somewhat. so £500 later, I had to bite the bullet and get a...a...Sunny. Oh Dear I thought
However how wrong I was.
So its like this. Got sunny with a few weeks MOT for £500. Near mint condition due to solid build. Near silent engine. First few weeks, returning near 50mpg, and a good turn of speed to boot, I was happy.
Then the holiday to the south of france came. I thought, lets give the sunny a go! So 2000 miles in real heat, 4 up with a bootful, and, still 50mpg. Didnt miss a beat.
Got home, back to the daily commute and youve guessed it, its fine.
To top it all off, it has just sailed through MOT. Now surely it does not get better than this?
Its well built, comfy, quiet, frugal, anonymous, and the seats fold flat!!
For me, this car is better than some that have cost me £5000. A true pleasure to drive and to own. If you dont mind a bit of anonimity!!
