2004 Nissan X-Trail SVE review from UK and Ireland
"Terrible"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The problems are as follows:
We are now on our third inter cooler!
It has been recalled twice, once something to do with the fuel system and the second, most recent one to do with the fuel filler?
The GPS was out of date the day we got it, with the M6 toll road not on the CD, nor many other older roads including the new A130 between Southend and Chelmsford.
I drive a lot overseas, and anything above 90MPH produces an horrendous vibration in the ventilation system.
Constant vibrations from the sunroof flap at slow speeds.
Two speakers have had to be replaced due to being misshapen?
The drivers seat has always been very uncomfortable due to the seam on the leather protruding.
And now the clutch goes with 53000 miles on the clock, but with the useless GPS showing my average speed as 41 MPH thus proving that the vast majority of my driving in on the motorway.
Our local dealer of course will not replace the clutch under warranty, and we are therefore left with a bill of £779.00. The clutch problem alone would make one livid, but with everything else that has gone wrong with the car, Nissan have much improvement to make.
General comments?
This car is unreliable, uncomfortable, and does not do what it says on the can!
