Plastic bolt to engine block replaced with a brass one. Cost 7.00 dollars.
This is the greatest car I ever owned.
Most luxurious interior and great seats.
Great brakes for size of car.
Smooth ride on bumpy streets, handles like a dream.
I drove this car 100,000 miles over 175,000 with no maintenance.
I have my 94 oldsmobile 88 named Betsy! (you have to name them.. hehehe) wouldn't trade her for the world, and people keep saying you need a new car... I just look at them, and say, yep, she needs a oil change, glad you reminded me!.
Although I have replaced the transmission, and minor things, (but they do add up), but your right, there is not a better driving car, and so smooth riding, we have to take a steep hill everyday, and she get's a pat everyday when we hit the top!.. And trust me, the new cars don't hold a candle!.. It's a big car, great gas mileage, and nobody in a new car wants to mess with us!..
Yep, I'm a older lady at 57... I am so glad you posted this, just reassures me that I've got the best one ever, and going to keep it another 10 years!!!
JoAnn... and of course BETSY...
