1988 Oldsmobile 88 Royale review from North America
"This car has the best value"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The paint has faded very badly on the hood and trunk. The car was kept outside in the sun for its whole life so it is expected to happen.
The rear drum Brakes needed to be replaced.
The passenger window does not work.
The alternator was replaced at 125,000 miles.
General comments?
I am very happy with my Oldsmobile. I bought it for 850$ from a friend have not stuck almost any money into it.
This car has an exceptional amount of power for it size. This car from a dead stop has very good acceleration and has some exceptional top speed. The wide stance also gives it very good performance around corners.
This car also has some very spacious interior for a two door car. The seats are very comfortable.
