1979 Oldsmobile 98 Regency review from North America
"Very reliable and cheap to fix"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Drivers seat power drive fell apart.
Heater core went.
Starter.
HEI module needed replacement.
Ignition switch went, wired in remote start switch.
General comments?
I bought this car for its huge trunk as I do constuction, and it has lots of room.
Other than the faults I have listed, it has been a great car. The 403 had lots of power.
Great in the snow once I added actual snow tires for the winters in B.C.
A very solid car; I feel very safe in it as other new cars are made out of mostly plastic.
It now is leaking massive oil and smoking clouds; time to take it off road.
Pu.
