Just a few fuses needed to be replaced, and the panel lights need to be replaced.
This is my first car, and it is a great one. The only problem is that the vacuum lines had to be replaced due to being stored for upwards of 7 months.
I am the third owner and am not going to sell it for any amount of money. This car is going to become a show car very soon.
The 305 pumps out enough power to smoke the tires with ease. And it also has good pick up.
Hey man, the '83 98 Brougham was my first car too I drove the wheels off of it all during my teens and she has only left me stranded once with a broken belt. The car is sitting at my father's property in the country now because she has become just an old car over the years, and she still might be a "someday restoration" thing (it being my first car and all). I'm not positive about your specific car, but mine had the 5.0L 307 Olds motor that made the car feel a little under-powered (but I've driven Caddies ever since, so...), but the block I have is compatible with a 455 rocket engine, so you might want to look into it; you can tell if it's an Olds motor if the oil filler is in the very front of the engine and not in the valve-cover. Well if you didn't know - Now you know. Good luck with your "Shows-mobile", I sure would love to see it. Tim.
