All the power window switches have shorted out, the horn doesn't work, and the battery cable had to be replaced. All minor.
This car is a big rolling boat. The engine is actually very quiet and powerful to some extent. The wind noise above 50mph is outrageously unbelievable for a "flagship." The car has lots of convienence features like 8 way power seats and a sunroof and steering wheel radio controls, a bose stereo. On a general note, the car is a most definate "old lady" car, as it just looks like you're supposed to be old if you want to drive this. The retail value hurts to know about, but then again, if you need a cheap, basically reliable car, there you go. Safety features are dismal, technology is years behind, interior has lots of rattle. This car is still a good old car though, and for the most part you can rely on her to start every morning.
I agree about the safety being years behind - but it is an '89 98.
