1999 Oldsmobile Alero GLS review from North America
"Don't buy one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had to have rotors resurfaced every 6 months (pulsation of brakes, cahnged valve on tires, cleaned corrossion offe inside of tires (kept losing air).
Traction light comes on and off, now it needs changing left front hub and bearings at 24,292 miles and after end of 3 year warranty.
Dealer service has been terrible and oldsmobile has been even worst.
General comments?
Engine drves smooth, but rest of car is a problem.

| If you can get past the problems, Alero has potential: MUCH better than the Achieva it replaced! |
