2001 Oldsmobile Alero GLS review from North America
"Piece of junk"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well lets see first the directionals stopped working and so did the emergency signals. Very hard to find a dealer and I was pregnant. Then while driving as soon as I got up to 20 miles per hour, then 40, then 60 miles per hour the car would reve without me touching it. It is in the shop again.
When I started it, it would rev as well. Service engine soon light would come on. It needs a TPS sensor in the transmition that cost 145.00 and is not covered due to my mileage.
General comments?
I don't recommend this car to anyone, especially those with children. Too many problems and trade in value is aweful. Now mine in only worth $5000.
