2002 Oldsmobile Alero GL review from North America
"Good car, but some troubles make it less good"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Before buying: (for free)
-Windshield cracked
-Battery was old (starting was a pain)
-Front brakes and read break change
-Touch paint on some places.
After: (I took extended warranty)
-Front right Caliper leaked, making the brake oil low. (changed it under warranty I paid 115$)
-Timing belt broke while driving (hoppefully under extended warranty, would cost 2500$ in parts and labour)
-I now have some leak under car.. its yellow, look like engine coolant, but its all over under the car not just under engine so..don't know what it is..??if someone know please tell me by email: simy.85@hotmail.com.
General comments?
I like it. The only fact I hate is that I paid 12000$ for it and now worth like 6000$...but its quite reliable and the dealership is good. Hopefully I got no other big trouble with or I'll sell it as soon as I can get something else.
