2000 Oldsmobile Alero review from North America
"Lemon lemon lemon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
OK, here goes. I bought my 2000 Alero from a used dealer. First of all the dash is bubbling pretty bad on the driver side, this was OK.
The first week I noticed the brake and anti lock, low tire pressure, change engine oil and low coolant lights were all on and would not go off. I put air in all the tires, changed the brakes, and filled with coolant and the lights would not go off.
The engine would not stop overheating, so I took it back to the dealer and the mechanic fixed the problem so far!!!
Now I have noticed that some times when I go to start the car, it will not turn over until I put gas in it, and it already have over a quarter of tank of gas in it.
Now while driving down the street, the car will just die as if it is out of gas. If I let it sit for awhile it will start, however it will only drive for about 2 miles and die again, and it keeps doing this over and over!!! The signals and hazard lights work when they get ready.
Yes this car is cool to look at, but it is definitely a LEMON!!! If any one knows how I can fix any of these problems, please email me at babiegurl0030@aol.com
