Tough time starting in cold weather. Presently with the cooler weather coming starting this car is a process in its self. There isn't any notes or charms it takes several tries before it starts. Now today was a warmer day in Boston got in my car and it started right up. Whats the problem.
Currently having transmission problems. car runs fine and then it will start slipping, I pull the car over shut it off restart the car and it will run the rest of the day without any problems. Then the same thing happens, I brought car to the transmission shop and they said it may be the clutches wearing out (it may) there's my problem what if I rebuid my tranny and this isn't the problem Need suggestions or help.
I love this car and will hate to get rid of it.All repairs are costly, but I still love the car. Most electrical things I replaced failed after installation because that wasn't the problem. For the most part stay away from electrical repairs unless absolutely necessary because those problems are hard to pinpoint and are very costly.

To take the tranny off and rebuild it would probably cost the same as getting a good used one from a junkyard and having it put in. I'm a mechanic, and it's cheaper at my shop.
